A bloomin' picnic

First, a word about the title of this post. Everything is in bloom here. Therefore, we decided to have a picnic and enjoy the weather and the trees. Krisy was at the camera for most of these.

This one is actually at the beginning of the picnic. Krisy was helping Delaney open her special juice drink we got from the store this morning.

Delaney was impressed when I showed her how to use a tennis shoe as a cup holder. She thought it was a little gross at first, and rightly so. But hey, you do what you must on picnics.

Delaney sat in my lap to be shielded from the wind. What's funny about this picture? Krisy was asking us both to look at the camera. We went with other options.

This indicated it was almost time to go home. Notice the discarded drinks to the side of the slightly wrinkled blanket. The sleepy child was an indication too.
