Easter Weekend

We had a great Easter Weekend. Krisy had Friday and Monday off so we made the most of it. Below are some pictures from the weekend. The previous post shows what we did on Friday (soccer). These are shots from Sat-Mon.

On Saturday, we had incredible weather. So we decided to go to the city center and watch an outdoor Easter play. It was well done. This picture is taken before the play started. We enjoyed some ice cream. That should tell you that the weather was very nice.

Saturday night Delaney and Krisy decorated Easter eggs with color and symbols. This picture was taken on Sunday morning. The stickers (a cross, etc...) allowed us to talk about the resurrection with Delaney.

Sunday afternoon. We got a quick picture of her Easter dress before she quickly discarded it for some play clothes. Krisy made a roast and we had a great meal together. Then daddy settled down for a LOOOOOOOOONG Easter nap.

Monday was a lazy day. I worked on the dissertation in the morning, then we all just bummed around the house in the afternoon. Delaney spent a few minutes gazing out of out bedroom window. She decided to pose for this shot. I was relaxing on the bed. Krisy was at the desk in the same room reading e-mail. (Our bedroom is a much better living room than our living room). It was the kind of peaceful moment that you hope for on off days.
