Lemon Squares

Last night Krisy and Delaney made some lemon squares. Now my part is not pictured here, but let me just say that it involved 3 trips to the grocery store (one trip was after one of the pictures that will be explained in a moment.

It all started very smoothly. Delaney is meticulously adding ingredients. Above, the sugar goes in.

Next, Krisy and Delaney measure out the lemon juice. So far, so good.

I went to the store right after this shot was taken. Delaney accidently used the bowl as a support when she was leaning over. Here we see Krisy cleaning up Delaney, the floor, the counter, the rug, the cabinet doors, and herself. As a journalist I was ethically bound not to get involved.
Later that night we enjoyed some of these things. MMMMMMM, squares. They were even better today. We keep things like this sitting on top of the microwave for sampling.
